This gift certificate is good for one hour of business coaching from George Sterling, Sterling Business Coaching. Coaching whether traditional or more advanced is about change. There are always difficult conversations that need to happen. Understanding comes from good conversations. Everyone needs to be having the same type of conversation. There's a myriad of other communication that happens with body language tone of voice, facial expressions, often it's things you don't say that communicates misunderstandings best. It usually doesn't take too long for a business to run into some sort of obstacle. That’s when an owner/manager may adopt the business versus busyness mode. The enthusiasm has waned a bit and then it’s not so much fun anymore. Here a coach can come in and help the leader take a look from the outside. Nonprofits are businesses. They have to work within the same economy as any business. Often with more challenges. Nonprofit board members are made up of a very diverse group of society. Varying ideas and conversations to move the board forward can be challenging for the executive director, may be stressed trying to do the boards will. And end up being damned if you do and damned if you don't. Coaching businesses and individuals that are doing fine to move their careers from one level to the next. I help them get unstuck, often they're just missing one of the three C's. Maybe a little short on courage or commitment or confidence. So who needs a coach? The boss may be doing menial busywork to avoid the real challenges. Purchases may have changed around the way the business sells. The bosses may not be listening to each other. Leadership is not focused on leading, strategy and implementation. An organization where blame is the primary culture rather than facing challenges head-on.
